Born with a form of Cerebral Palsy which impairs the muscular movement in his legs, Kipp had a golf club in his hand from the age of three and never looked back.
Despite 10 major surgeries in his formative years, Kipp’s ambition and dedication has led him to the summit of disability golf.
A win at the EDGA Hero Open in Scotland last year, played alongside the DP World Tour event, propelled Kipp to the number one spot on the World Ranking for Golfers with Disability (WR4GD)
He continued that success, winning 4 out of the 6 G4D Tour events in 2022, including the G4D Tour @ Estrella Damm N.A. Andalucía Masters in Valderrama.
In this Roots episode, Kipp reveals how his love for the game of golf began and became a driving force in his mantra to ‘Press On’ and overcome any physical disadvantage to achieve the ambitious goals that he has set his mind on.
Hear from his family, friends and teachers who have supported him every step of the way, as well as hear how the passing of his cousin, Archie Bruce, has given him an even greater motivation for the game of golf and perspective on the importance of family.
