Zach Johnson won his first Open at the 144th Open Championship in 2015.

After an enthralling weekend at St Andrews, the American secured his second major following his Masters triumph in 2007. This was one of the most challenging Open’s in recent history, as treacherous weather conditions caused delays and increased the difficulty of the course.

On the final day, Zach Johnson, Marc Leishman and 2010 champion Louis Oosthuizen finished their round on the same score of -15, setting up a dramatic four-hole playoff for the Claret Jug.

Johnson dug deep to emerge victorious, as his two rivals fell at the final hurdle in this tense final playoff.

A deserving winner and another new name on the long list of Open Champions. Relive every shot from Zach Johnson’s winning round and playoff from St Andrews.
